How long does a wrap last?
On average, a wrap will last 3-5 years depending on how well it is taken care of. Like anything else, over time, everyday wear and tear will impact your wrap. If you maintain your wrap, it has the potential to remain looking brand new for up to 6 or 7 years.
What brands of vinyl do you use?
We make use of many of the leading vinyl brands such as Avery Dennison, Hexis and Oracal. We also use many other well known brands. All brands have different colours and finishes.
What is the process for you to wrap my car?
First, we set up an appointment to meet with you to discuss what you want done. We then send a quotation. Once the quotation is approved, we require a 50% deposit to book your car in and to order the wrap of your choice. The wrap usually takes 4-7 days to arrive. Once the wrap arrives, you can bring your car to our shop, and we will begin the process.
Depending on what you want done, the process takes about 4 - 7 days. Larger, more extensive jobs could take up to 10 days.
We begin by thoroughly washing all surfaces to ensure complete adhering of the vinyl. This includes a hand wash and dry, followed by an alcohol treatment and clay bar to remove any left over oils/waxes/residue. The less contaminants left behind, the longer your wrap will last. Next, we remove all emblems, door handles, lights, vents, etc. This ensures that all edges of your wrap will be hidden from view for that flawless, “is that a paint job?,” quality assurance.
After your wrap is installed, everything that was removed prior is re-installed to pre-installation condition. We finalize the process with another hand wash and dry and a treatment to give it that showroom look.
What are your prices?
Prices for vehicle wraps vary depending on the colour of the wrap and the brand of the wrap.
Full vehicle wraps start at R15 000 for standard gloss colours on a standard size car.
Partial wraps such as: Roof wraps - from R1500; Mirror wraps - from R850; Bonnet wraps - from R1200.
